I plan to release a first CTP of CPT 4 in spring which will only have the new repertoire management module, not the training module etc. We will see if I'm able to keep the timeline. Afterwards I will announce the release date of the next (training) module.

I have a little problem. To add 'new repertoire' works, but if i want to add 'existing (sub)repertoire' it says, can not find the file. And i'm sure that the pad is the right one. How that happens, of is there something else i can do about it please ??

You have to separate the sub-repertoire from the other repertoire first. Then you can add it to another repertoire. You can't have it assigned to two repertoires at the same time.

ahaa, thats what i'm doing wrong. I knew it was a little thing but didn't know what the problem was. I think i'm gonna download the manual and the tactics manual also. Maybe it's written in there.

Hello Stefan, i have a question. I have also the 2467games of G.Kasparov. I have allready made & save them as pgn-files, after i sort the games he played and won with white and black(i saved separate files for white and black). i've allready created a subrepertoire for white and black in CPT3.3. The question is, i know how to load them but can i also for example load the white files and sort them with the most played moves/variants as the first candidate moves at the same time? Or is there another way to do that.

I've read the manual but maybe overlook it. I have those Kasparov games in my ChessAssistentLight and can't find it to sort the moves by most played candidate moves for the whole opening line, neigther to do this at CPT and load them at the same time.

this is not related to the blog entry. Please use the forum for such questions / issues.

If I understand you correctly you want to import PGN files in a way where the resulting candidate move list for a position is ordered by the number of games the move was played (likelihood) in the PGN file.

This is not possible at the moment.

Yes, thats what i mean, the moves or openings that he played the most, put them as the first candidate move and so on.

Can i do that maybe also by using; Run backsolving? I don't know if CPT sort the moves/games that he mostly played.

Hi Stephan, i have a big problem. I've spend days and days to put my whole repertoire in CPT and now, my XMR-file is empty(there's 0kb in it) how thats possible, cause i didn't delete something. Thats a lot of work throwing away cause i have a big repertoire.

What can i do about it and how and where i must do that(i'm not a pc-genius you know)!!

I can't open my repertoire at all with this problem !
