Hello everybody,

this web-site ist still alive and so am I.

Just before the process of moving out of the old flat and moving in the new house startet the web-site didn't work anymore and show some weird error message. Of course, I hardly noticed this problem and yet lost my internet access from at home. It took some time, but now I have full access again and finally the web-site came back to life.

Getting settled in our new home will take some more time. I will let you know when I continue my work on CPT (and I will).

Thanks for all your concerned emails guys which I received the last couple weeks. I'm amazed how many people care for this web-site and that you found my email adress at all even though the web-site was down.

Regards,

Stefan

Dear Stefan

I was wondering why you don't make the source code open, that way we all can contribute to keeping this project move forward?

Here is wishing you and yours a Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year- filled with good health, prosperity, and the wonders of the adventures of learning.

I'm about to give up on CPT4. CPT3 a great program but it can be made a lot better. CPT4 already sounds very impressive and great, but the release date keeps getting postponed for months or even years now. Why not start a team to work on it? "Vele handen maken licht werk" is a dutch proverb translating to "many hands make work light". I'm sure there are a lot of programmers who would love to work with you on this project.

Probably it is possible to run it under Linux, using the Mono implementation of .NET for Linux.

CPT doesn't work on Windows 7.

The menus of the menu bar takes several minutes to draw causing the application to appear hung.

It appears that alpha faded shadows of the custom drawn menus may be the problem.

The application can only run with the desktop window composition turned off.

I am going to figure that the project is dead.  It's been months since we have heard from Stefan.  CPT doesn't run well on Vista and hardly at all on Windows 7.  I am just going to figure that it's dead.

For anyone tired of waiting, there is Bookup.  No bugs, been around for years, and I have used for same.  Not free but free trial period download available.  Repertoire software also.
