Trying this out

how do u get the downloads to work. When i try to open it it says windows cannot open this program

every time i try to load a repertoire cpt says loading repertoire failed. an error occured while loading the repertoire hexadecimal value 0x03, is an invalid character line 1 position 3

This sounds to me like the download got corrupted. Please try to do a fresh download again. You can only open the file within CPT. Do the other repertoires work for you?

no none of them work i always get the same message

now it works but every time i open a repertoire i just get a regular chessboard with all th pieces set to the initial position. there aren't any moves on any of them. what should i do?

in other words there are no canidate moves on any of the repertoires i download

Have you started to enter a new repertoire and does this work as expected? I would like to continue our discussion in the forum or by private email as a blog is not the best and most convenient way to provide you support.

how I can open the files plz? what is the files format?
