    Using CPT for Tactics training

In using CPT for tactics training I have come across two niggling issues:

    1. It appears when training named positions CPT doesn't seem to look down the variations to find the worst positions like it does with openings. So if all named positions are at 100% they are all equally likely to be chosen, even if one has some low scoring variations.

    2. I have to artificially separated my tactics material into White and Black sub repertoires. It would be great for non opening material if both White to move and Black to move positions could be mixed together.

Thanks again for such a great training tool :)

You perfectly summarized the two main issues about CPT and tactic training. They are on my list. Thanks for posting!

Any news on CPT 4 in regard to this issue?

This is the one thing I would most like to see in the next version.

Re: Using CPT for Tactics training

A module for tactic games / eBooks probably won't make it into the initial release of CPT 4. It is at the top of my feature list for the future though.
