    Training on deleted positions!

    Hi,

I created a sub-repertoire via the import-pgn menu. Everything went fine (it took less than half a second ;-). So I’m using the training center and I realize I forgot to delete a variation I’m not supposed to know. So I close the training center, delete the variation (it tells me it deleted all the moves and positions without any mistakes), save the sub-repertoire, but when I start training again, the position (the one I’ve just deleted) is still there! But only in the training center...

I even tried to export my sub-repertoire to a pgn file: the deleted line was nowhere to be seen!

Of course, it is not a big deal: I deleted the sub-repertoire and re-imported it without the wrong line. The only thing is that you lose your training score and have to start training again on lines you know well.

Voilà! Thanks in advance for the answer.

PS: I see (thanks to the "Related" thumbnail) that somebody had the same problem some time ago... So he's not alone ;-)

    Re: Training on deleted positions!

    Hi,

a strange bug. The code for deleting positions is re-written with the next version of CPT so I hope it will be fixed. Actually I'm working precisely on this functionality and will make sure it is really gone.

I can imagine that some positions are not deleted, because a transposition is leading to the same position, but that's just a theory / possible reason. I will watch-out for the problem.

    Regards,

    Stefan
