    Analyzing EPD Files

I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to evaluate EPD files to import back into CPT.  Here is what I have tried so far:

-I tried importing some games from a PGN database into a Bookup repertoire book.  I also imported the same PGN files into a sub-repertoire in CPT.  I then exported from Bookup to an EPD file and analyzed it using Bookup.  Then I re-imported the EPD file into Bookup and it gave me the numeric (centipawn) assessments in bookup, but when I imported the file back into CPT I saw no new data of any kind.

-I downloaded EPD2diag and tried to run analysis with the free Rebel engine.  Whenever I clicked to start, a DOS window would open for a split second and then close, and nothing would happen.  I tried with Crafty too, but that failed some other way.

-I downloaded Scid and ran the "annotate" feature on the EPD.  When I re-imported it back into CPT it had added a bunch of weird candidate moves, but I still was not getting any rate symbols or numeric evaluations.

So, can someone please tell me how I can analyze my EPD files without a lot of fuss?
