    Making your own repertoires

I am not sure that this was covered on this forum, but since I am a new user, I thought I would write about it.  I wanted to add some new sub-repertoires and repertoires  that were not listed in the available files for download. I added Kings gambit accepted and declined.  I just added them as sub-repetoires to the standard repertoire opening file that was already available. You could also create a new repertoire and add it to that, if you preferred.

I went to the sub repertoire menu and selected "add"  A box pops up and I name the new subrepetoire "Kings Gambit accepted."  Looking up the ECO  code for that opening on google or many chess sites, I came up with C33.   I then went to Chessopeningspgn.com and selected C33 for download, downloaded C33 and saved it.

Then I opened the new sub-repertoire Kings Gambit accepted  and went to the sub-repetoire menu item "Import PGN File" and selected that I wanted to import it to the "current sub-repertoire". It then asks some options like the number of moves and comment lines and such, and once that is selected, it lets you find the downloaded file, where you saved it. It then loads all the PGN files into  the sub repertoire, ( takes a minute or two depending on the size of the PGN files) and you have a brand new sub-repertoire. I hit the save button in the sub-repertoire menu , just to make sure it is saved......

I have already created about 20 subs of different openings.. Works great, and it is free......
