I found CPT a few weeks ago and am enthusiastic! (can't wait for version 4)
I am I wonder if someone can help me with the following 2 problems:
Problem 1:
On Windows 7 64b (compatibility settings as per the other threat in the forum) everything used to work fine for 2 weeks until earlier today. Since then in training mode, training stops after a random number of moves (CPT just stops moving). I can restart training but same happens a few moves later again. Tried various different training settings but no luck. Happens in both of the sub-repertoires of my rather large opening repertoire.
Training still though works perfectly with a repertoire I downloaded from the download area, i.e. the problem seems to be linked to my repertoire file. I can though work normally with my file outside the training mode (i.e. edit etc.)
Has anybody else experienced this and found a solution for it? (besides waiting for version 4)
Problem 2:
As per the manual and some of the posts, I would like to use Chess Assistant 11 to evaluate the EPD file (exported from CPT). I tried various engines and EPD files but again after a few positions, the evaluation just rushes through the rest
(e.g. I set 10 sec per position. engine analysis first approx 15 positions at about 10 sec each and then spends on each of the other approx 200 positions a fraction of a second each. Unfortunately CA support can't help.
Does anybody experience the same problem ?
