Hi Stefan

 I am doing some experiments with a small test repertoire (too scared of messing up my "production" one!). I seem to have problems importing evaluations.

I have:

1. Created a small repertoire

2. Exported it as pgn

3. Imported the pgn into a chess engine, analysed it and saved it back - the imported file is below

4. Imported the annotated pgn

Now, when I navigate through the moves, I don't see any evaluation in the "Computer evaluation" tab (the "C" field is always 0).

Did I do something wrong?

OK, did some more test, looks like evaluations, both for import and export, are handled only via epd files and not via pgn - is this the intended behaviour?

Also, it looks like there is a bug with the manual evaluation - when I go to a position and I manually insert a (negative) evaluation, I get an application exception - guess this needs to be fixed?

Hi Andrea,

import/export only considers notator symbols. EPD covers computer evaluations. I didn't have the request in the past to import computer evaluations via PGN. I will check this.

The negative issue will be fixed with the next version. In the meantime ensure you enter some digits first and only then enter the minus symbol. This way it should work.
