    CHESS VISION DRILLS

    Hi all!

First of all, my congratulations to Stephan for working in this amazing project. I recently donwloaded CPT 3.3 and it's really the best training chess software I have found at the moment.

As a suggestion, I just would like a couple of things, maybe they are already implemented:

1º) Following very well known De la Maza's book, I'd like to train some chess vision drills over the screen board, but that's not possible because in most of GUIs, once you have configured a certain position, you need to move following general chess rules (first white, then black) and it's not possible to practice, for instance, all possible moves of a knight, or a rook.

2º) I also would like some blindfold chess fetaures: showing off certain squares, or a part of the board, delay of some movements before showing them over the board, but checking that they are legal moves, etc.

Thank you very much for your attention and opinions!

     Best regards!

    Hi,

thanks for your suggestions. Regarding 2) while not everything you suggest is yet possible there are quite some options to train your repertoire in blindfold mode. Just thought I would mention it just in case you haven't discovered these features in the training centre already.

    Regards,

    Stefan
