I notice that in the list of games with novelties played in them, there is a column for opening name that is not used.  I find it helpful to have a name for the opening I'm studying as it helps me to differentiate between other variations if I can name them.  I know that there is a list of eco codes to move name files available as well ...

As you may have figured out by now :) CPT doesn't do that.  Maybe Stefan could look at that in a future release.

Would it be possible to make the pieces that you want to have hidden an ''and'' rather than an or?  In the training center under options, visualization skill, hide pieces, could that be a list of checkboxes rather than a select drop box?  That way I could select knights and bishops or knights and rooks or all pieces, but not pawns, ...

Having the ability to backsolve sure is neat, and I really like the fact that you can choose engines to use in analysis.  What I'd really like is to be able to analyze each of the leaf nodes and save the computer evaluation to the position.  It'd be really cool if the program could ask how many minutes _total_ I want it to spend and then ...
