  • Installation Problem

I'm intrigued by the CPT but how the h*ll do you get it to work? I know I'm not very techy but I've tried and the thing just doesn't function. I've got two machines - one using XP and one Vista but it doesn't work on either of them. Can anyone help? Please make any answer very simple with instructions in plain english. I'm afraid I can ...

Solution: I was installing CPT on a Windows XP running into Parallels under OSX. I choose, as the install directory, a ''shared'' directory (ie: analogous to a network path).   Copying CDP in C: made it run. So I guess the issue is that we can't install it on a network drive ?   Cheers,   --fred

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't clear: when I said that I installed donet, I meant that I installed donet during the installation (using the ''Do you want to install donet1.1 ? [Yes]'' button provided by the installer).   I just checked: there are 2 versions of dotnet on my computer:   v1.0.3705 and v1.1.4322   I will try to ...
