Solution: I was installing CPT on a Windows XP running into Parallels under OSX. I choose, as the install directory, a ''shared'' directory (ie: analogous to a network path).   Copying CDP in C: made it run. So I guess the issue is that we can't install it on a network drive ?   Cheers,   --fred 

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't clear: when I said that I installed donet, I meant that I installed donet during the installation (using the ''Do you want to install donet1.1 ? [Yes]'' button provided by the installer).   I just checked: there are 2 versions of dotnet on my computer:   v1.0.3705 and v1.1.4322   I will try to ...

Installed CPT on an XP. It asked me to install dotnet, which I did.    CPT crashes at startup:  ''Application has generated an exception that could not be handled''   Any clue ?   --fred 

I cannot install Microsoft .NET Framework. Can I install CPT? how? thank you macbar
